Faded Polaroids captures the complete recorded output of Seattle’s short-lived but spirited Dirty Outs, active from 2016 to 2018. Fronted by singer/songwriter Dave Lake, the band was formed during a creative reawakening after years away from music, carving out a raw, looser sound that deliberately stepped outside the shadow of Diesel Boy.

The A-side presents the Faded Polaroids EP — a snapshot of a band finding its voice through gritty melodies and unpolished energy. On the flip side, Dirty Demos offers a rare glimpse into the writing process, featuring early versions of songs that would later evolve into Diesel Boy material, alongside tracks unique to this era.

Limited in lifespan but rich in character, this release stands as both a time capsule and a bridge — documenting a fleeting chapter that ultimately helped spark a new beginning.
